Who We Are
Pastor Jamey Authier
Pastor Jamey grew up in Herron, MI graduating from Alpena High School. He is also a graduate of Michigan State University and Trinity Lutheran Seminary. Pastor Jamey has served 3 churches (Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church - Wheeling, WV; Cross Lutheran Church - Clinton Twp, MI; Faith Lutheran Church - Shelby Twp, MI) before coming here to Bethel Lutheran.
Pastor Jamey is married to Tracey Milbauer-Authier and has 3 children: Parker, working in Indianapolis, IN; Stella, a graduate of MSU; and Margo, studying at MSU. They live in Clinton Twp with several cats and dogs.
Marlene Pitters
Office Administrator
Marlene celebrates 36 years serving Bethel Bethel and the community. She began serving in our office as a part-time working typing the bulletin. Since then, her responsibilities have grown and she has met the challenges. Currently, along with running the office she coordinates a number of projects through the congregation. She and her husband, Barry, have two grown sons.

Mary Doll
Praise Team Leader
Mary grew up at Bethel and has been part of our praise band since we first began contemporary worship in 1991. As leader she coordinates our worship services and continues to keep our praise filled with popular Christian songs focusing on Christ's gift of grace to us. She and her husband Klaus have two grown children.
Kim Heaton
Bookkeeper
Kim came to our staff in 2018 working part-time in our office. She receives donations, provides reports for Lay Leaders and oversees our financial accounts. She also is the bookkeeper at First Presbyterian in Mt Clemens. She and her husband Dan have three grown children
John Leprich
Organist/Musician
John provides organ and piano accompaniment for our 9 a.m. worship service. He has been playing piano since he was 7 years old, and took up the organ some years later, having served as organist and substitute organist at a number of churches over the past 30 years. He and his wife Lana have two grown daughters.
