First Visit?
We're happy you're here, welcome! It can be intimidating stepping into a new congregation but we're happy to walk you through where to park, what to expect, and who to look to for help.

Where are we located?
Bethel Lutheran Church
Located at 26400 Little Mack Ave in St Clair Shores, we are easily accessible from almost anywhere in southern Macomb county from I-94 or I-696.
Parking
We appreciate our first time visitors so much we have special parking spaces just for you - as noted by the green stars on the map near the wall of the Frazho parking lot. If you park in the Bon Heur parking lot you will follow the green arrow on the map and cut through by the bike racks and enter our main entrance off of the Frazho parking lot. If you find the parking lots are full there is always parking available in the street on both Frazho and Bon Heur Streets.

Greeters
When you arrive, our wonderful greeters will welcome you and help direct you to the stairs or elevator leading to the sanctuary. Near each entrance, our ushers will offer you a program outlining the day’s service, along with a tan slip where you’re invited to share your name and contact information if you’d like. You can return this slip to the ushers during the offering
For the children
There are busy bags available on a hanging rack near the entrance to the sanctuary to keep little hands busy and sunday school is offered for any children 4 and up. After the greeting children may go up when called to the altar for a children's lesson with Pastor Jamey and will then be directed to follow their teacher down to the basement where the lesson will be taught and they will be waiting to be picked up after the service. Children are always welcome and encouraged to be themselves.

Communion
We practice an open table at Bethel. You do not need to be a member or a Lutheran, all are welcome. As the ushers call each pew up to the altar Pastor Jamey will offer a wafer as the body of Christ (we do offer gluten free wafers upon request). Then you will move to the side where a communion assistant will offer the blood of Christ in individual glasses of red wine or white grape juice, whatever you are most comfortable with.
